In Ongoing Conflict, a Human Toll

Much of the coverage on the Syrian conflict has revolved around chemical weapons, tactics, land holding, and sovereignty. At the same time, the human cost of the conflict rises, with over 150,000 non-combatants killed in the duration of the conflict, including 134 killed and 200 wounded (the majority of which are women and children) in yesterday’s strike on Syrian mobile labs, according to hospital reports in the Hizb’allah controlled area.

UN General Assembly Resolution

The UN issued a resolution that would condemn Israel’s recent attack as a grave violation of national sovereignty, and condemn possible War Crimes committed in the recent attack that killed scores of civilians. The UN is urging an immediate commission be appointed to investigate, and for both sides to cease the violence and negotiate a ceasefire.

UNSC Resolution is currently be discussed as well.
